Every Pattern & Colour represents a unique meaning.
The 'James Town' print was used to create this ‘ASANTEWA' kente print Cover-Up. James Town is adorned with beautiful artistic locations, culture and stories of Ghana's distant past.
The colours used to create this pattern include:
- Red which has a political and spiritual association to sacrifice.
- Green, which often represents life, growth and good health.
- Yellow, which represents wealth, royalty and purity.
- Black, associated with mystery, strength & spiritual energy.
All these colours and patterns come together to bring ‘unity in diversity’.
